A A Milne taught me about rhyme – and reason; Barbara Sleigh fired my imagination and my playtimes with the Carbonel stories. At the end of a day’s work I had written the most monumental amount of words that I had almost no recollection of writing. In addition to the three main characters, I loved the portrayal of the kind and compassionate nurse in both the present and past timelines. I also acknowledged that I, myself, had actually built these pillars because I wanted to help myself.
