About this deal

The Group Logitech camera functions include a Pan feature that can be panned over a range of 260º and a tilt facility allowing it to be tilted 130º to expand the camera's scope. The 10x lossless HD zoom can be used to focus on an individual participant while maintaining high-quality visuals. HD Quality Video Logitech introduces a new all-in-one standalone collaboration system designed to revolutionize the world of video conferencing. The Logitech Group is a video conferencing solution that provides a wide field of view and clear audio for more collaborative, productive meetings.

The sound from the speaker unit is natural and clear, on par with the VC520, as long as participants on the other end of the call are using decent mics. We tested the claimed radius of the speakerphone mic, and at a distance of 20 feet, remote listeners were able to hear my voice loud and clear. A 1080p HD digital camera with a 90º field of view means everyone in the meeting space will be seen no matter the angle of view and without the need to huddle around a small camera. While the Group's camera specs are identical to those of its predecessor, it adds face detection and five position presets, which are convenient if meeting attendees sit at set places. This feature negates the need to pan and tilt to capture regularly placed participants during recurrent meetings. That said, the VC520 has twice the number of presets. Presenters and whiteboards will also be framed perfectly with the pan/tilt and zoom controls available via your connected device or the remote control; you can ensure that your medium or large conference room is covered wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling. Outstanding audio quality The offer is available to companies using or planning to deploy a UC or cloud-based video conferencing platform within the next 5 months. The Group captures H.264 video with Scalable Video Coding (SVC) and UVC 1.5 compression to save on bandwidth, which sometimes results in a pixelated image. Using Windows 10's built-in camera app, without streaming video over a network, showed the Group to be capable of very sharp detail, and Skyping with a good connection also produced smooth video quality. Setting up the Group is straightforward, but a bit more involved than for the MeetUp. No setup guide is included; there's just a diagram on the inside of the product box, a reference card showing controls and connections, and the warranty and safety pamphlets. After connecting power to the hub, you need to connect the speaker and camera to it via USB 2.0 and PS/2 plugs; the color-coded plugs make it hard to get the connections wrong, and Velcro ties help keep the cables neat. You can also connect a laptop or smartphone to the speakerphone using Bluetooth.

With a wide field of view, great visuals, and crisp audio you will almost believe you are face-to-face. The Logitech Group conferencing kit can be used for meetings of 14-20 people but can also be used in a smaller conference room . How easy is it to connect a Logitech Group?I’m an avid bird photographer and traveler—I’ve been to 40 countries, many with great birds! Because I’m also a classical fan and former performer, I’ve reviewed streaming services that emphasize classical music. Logitech Group kit is certified for Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams . Other certifications also include use for Bluejeans, Broadsoft, Fuze, Lifesize Cloud, Vidyo, and Zoom. These allow you to accommodate up to 20 people and ensure they can all be heard. You simply plug them into the speakerphone and they're ready to use. There is also an optional 10-meter or even 15-meter cable to increase the reach of the speakerphone or camera. Is Logitech Group certified for Business? The attractive speakerphone unit shares one cool design feature with the ConferenceCam Connect. The remote control conveniently fits into its chassis for storage. The Group's remote rests in the speakerphone, though, while the Connect's snaps in. The MeetUp offers no storage for its ungainly square remote (which we misplaced).
