About this deal

Amidst these threats, Optimus Prime has troubling premonitions that hint at the coming of yet another menace. Autobots and Decepticons must unite against the Cybertronians and their deadly off-shoot, the Swarm. His fusion cannon can plug into the short barrel of the tank turret or the rifle/Headmaster vehicle weapon. In an undocumented additional feature, the rifle can be inserted into the front end of the fusion cannon. The fusion cannon can be mounted on his forearm or held by any figure with 5mm hands. It also has a peg hole that an accessory such as his rifle can plug into, with extra square peg holes specifically to hold the rifle in place. As with all our official Hoverboards for sale, this Megatron Off-Road Hoverboard is fully certified under all British directives of safety for 100% reliability, safety and quality assurance. G2 MEGATRON Hoverboard UK Features: Fairly simple for the size. Open the sides of the turret to form his arms, fold the rear down to form the lower half of his body, flip out the boots and feet. Slide the cannon onto his right shoulder, which should cause his head to pop out. Rotate the forearms and you're done. There are panels on his calves that cover the thighs, and close up once the boots are out - a nice touch.

For handfeel, this guy still feels pleasantly chunky in-hand, and I’m pleased to report that all of his joints are super-tight. In fact, they took the opportunity to fix his ankle tilts! To recap, the Siege version had weirdly loose ankles that were supposed to peg into a neutral position when not being used, but the pegs often didn’t work, making his feet flop around. For the Combat Megatron repaint, they reinforced those tabs. And on this guy, they just did away with the tabs entirely, and tightened those ankles right up, instead. Swing the arms (and the panels they are attached to) together to form the tank turret. Use the peg on the left arm to connect to the port in the Fusion Cannon. Some copies of this release of Megatron contains a spring inside the right shoulder joint that was not present on the original release. Unfortunately, this spring is so strong it can flex the torso piece from the inside out and prevent the right shoulder area from fitting together as intended. Unscrewing the torso and removing the spring can significantly alleviate this issue. Accessories: "D50-R35 Fusion Cannon," "HPR Telescopic Laserstrike Launcher" (combines to form "NFM Particle Beam Megalauncher"), Pinpointer Battle Master, Lionizer Battle Master, 3 Fire Blast effectsSmallest Transforming Transformers Megatron was released in the second wave of the diminutive Takara toyline, including only his fusion cannon. Easily the most complex of the Smallest Transforming figures, Megatron is a just-barely-simplified version of his original Generation 1 toy, possessing the same transformation scheme and retaining most of his articulation. The transformation step involving sliding his chest upwards away from his hips is extremely difficult and will usually result in the chest popping off; this is fixable. Part of the fourth wave of 2012-onwards Generations Legends Class toys, Thrilling 30 Megatron is roughly the same size as a Cyberverse Commander Class toy. He transforms from a generic tank with rotating turret into a robot based on his Alex Milne pre-war design as seen in " Chaos Theory Part 1" from IDW's 2009-2011 The Transformers comic series, and features 5 mm-compatible ports for his hands and left forearm/turret roof. In 1993 the Transformers line was relaunched as Generation 2, a line that mixed redecos of older figures with brand new figures. Some of these new figures featured G1 characters in new forms. Among them was Megatron, who no longer transformed into a gun but instead took on the vehicle mode of a tank! True to the aesthetics of the time, he had some fairly eye catching colors with a base of bright green and a purple camo pattern. Over the years there have been some homages to this G2 Megatron including a Legends Class figure and Voyager Class figure. Now Megatron gets the G2 treatment again via a War for Cybertron redeco of Earthrise Megatron which is in turn a redeco and retool of Siege Megatron. This review will focus on the changes made to the figure for this release. Known designers: Sam Smith (Hasbro), Takio Ejima (TakaraTomy), Lenny Panzica (initial concept), Emiliano Santalucia (concept artist), Tony Colella (sculpter) [9]

As with other Netflix series figures, Megatron was exclusive to Walmart in Canada and the United States. Megatron was also available as a Kmart exclusive in Australia. The original version of this mold was use to make Archforce and 2001 Robots in Disguise Bludgeon (which has been repurposed to also be Shattered Glass Bludgeon) and Yellow Megatron. EXPAND YOUR COLLECTION WITH SPECIAL EDITION FIGURES: Generations Selects is a fan-dedicated line of figures featuring special edition characters that can’t be found in the main linePush the section with the front treads down towards the rear treads. Each tread has a tab on it that clips into a corresponding slot on Megatron's torso. Here's an image of the unreleased Battlefield statue I designed for First4Figures. Obviously it is BW Megatron vs. Rhinox."— Primus (Jeffry Englert), TFW2005.com, 2008/08/28 The Hasbro release of this figure was in gold, dark brown, and silver. The Hasbro release is known for being remarkably fragile — the deep brown plastic used for Megatron's waist and torso is prone to eventual breakage due to stress fractures. This has often been mistaken for a form of Gold Plastic Syndrome, but is really more of a design flaw coupled with weak plastics. The Takara version, which used a different plastic, does not have this problem. The Hasbro version had three different variants all based on the shade used for the transmetal parts, some were pink, some purple and others a darker blue purple. One thing it DOES do well, though, is wear those G2 colors, particularly that less-accurate head, with its generous chin and comic-book-cover scowl, feels like it suits the G2 mood more than the Siege one. In fact, I feel like it wears them better than a straight Siege repaint would have. Blitzwing who? I'm just a Megatron who happens to turn into a tank and a jet. All the cool Megatrons are doing it!
