About this deal

Flood, Alison (29 November 2020). "Unseen JRR Tolkien essays on Middle-earth coming in 2021". The Guardian . Retrieved 8 September 2021. It is for Tolkien fans, readers, and scholars interested in learning more about Tolkien's own views on Middle-earth. It will appeal in particular to those readers who enjoyed Unfinished Tales, and some of the later volumes of the History of Middle-earth. Indeed, many of the texts to be included are closely associated with materials published in those places, and were sent to Hostetter, specifically, in photocopy by Christopher Tolkien for potential publication. Hammond, Wayne G.; Scull, Christina (2005). The Lord of the Rings: A Reader's Companion. HarperCollins. pp.137, 142–146. ISBN 978-0-00-720907-1. The Blue Wizards have not appeared physically in any adaptation of Middle earth works so far, and they are mentioned and implied only in the following adaptations:

Dragons are already present in The Book of Lost Tales. Tolkien had been fascinated with dragons since childhood, [T 32] and he named four dragons in his Middle-earth writings. Like the Old Norse dragon Fafnir, they are able to speak, and can be subtle of speech. [12] The Annotated Hobbit · The History of The Hobbit · The Nature of Middle-earth · The Fall of NúmenorJ.R.R. But I do really appreciate seeing who's been visiting :) Griping about someone trying to make money off Tolkien's popularity. Nobody is forcing them to buy the book. If they are disappointed in the book and capable of rationally talking about why, fine. But they can keep their petty little junior high school-level gripes about people who supposedly just want to make money to themselves, as far as I'm concerned. The Hobbits of the Shire developed the custom of giving away gifts on their birthdays instead of receiving them. They use the term Mathom for old and assorted objects, which are invariably given as presents many times over or were stored in a museum ( Mathom-house).
